Marta's background is an eclectic mix of technology and marketing, and she considers herself fluent in translating "techie" to English and vice-versa. Her background includes a B.S. in Electrical & Computer Engineering and an MBA, both from Carnegie Mellon University. She first landed in the eCommerce world in Tokyo, Japan and spent several years in software product development before coming back to head up the Merchandising & Marketing departments for an Internet Retailer Top 500 company, then moving to WESCO Distribution to build their new eCommerce & Digital Marketing departments including a brand new platform, pricing strategy, digital marketing plan, and product data process. Following her love of building the digital presence for large B2B organizations she made the jump to ANSYS, a B2B software firm, to head up their initiatives in web and digital and has big plans there for 2015.
Martin Rohde is responsible for developing and executing HP’s business-to-business (B2B) eCommerce strategy. He works to increase sales via custom online portals by improving functionality and the online customer experience. He collaborates across HP’s business groups and functional areas, including IT, operations, marketing and consumer online sales, to offer customers more choice and flexibility.
Martin joins HP from Arrow Electronics Inc., where he was vice president of eCommerce/eBusiness. At Arrow, Martin managed online sales and transformed Arrow’s web platform into a leading eCommerce engine. Martin has extensive B2B eCommerce experience and has held a variety of positions in global sales and strategy, operations, and mergers and acquisitions.

Philip Robins is General Manager at Block and Company, an industry-leading manufacturer and distributor of money handling products serving various B2B industries including banking, gaming and retail. Prior to Block, Philip was a Marketing Vice President leading customer lifecycle management and commercial marketing at Newark element14, a large B2B distributor of electronic components. Philip also ran the ecommerce business in North America for Hilti, a direct seller and manufacturer of construction tools directly serving industry trades. Philip first transitioned from B2C to B2B marketing while at Dell Computers, where he held several marketing roles. Philip has a MBA from the Kellogg School of Management and a BS from the University of Illinois.
Lance Kinerk is Director of the Global Digital Practice at Ingersoll Rand. During his career he has been involved in sales, operations, and marketing. Lance has taken his digital experience into diverse projects such as: starting a home automation company, building the largest manmade whitewater river and outdoor recreation facility, bringing a failing company out of bankruptcy, and leading a diversified manufacturing company into the digital age. These experiences provided him with the chance to convince skeptical bankers to invest $30M, present a plan to grant exit from bankruptcy ultimately resulting in a 25% valuation increase inside of nine months, and increasing digital spend 100%. He currently sits on the board of Tripstr and is an active investor in several other digital media companies. Lance has a BA in Biology from Davidson College and an MBA from Vanderbilt University, Owen Graduate School of Business.
Nathan Schatz has an extensive digital marketing and e-commerce marketing background including P&L leadership, creative, content, social media and web merchandising. Her strength lies in her ability to innovate quickly through strategy and direction but also deliver plans that generate immediate sales results. She uses data to drive decisions and measure success. She has specialized in developing strategy and operational plans that are a collaboration between marketing and sales with cross channel execution. She is currently the Director, B2B eCommerce Marketing at Office Depot. In her role, she is responsible for Marketing Strategy and Planning for their two B2B web properties, customer facing email programs, trigger marketing, website "learn" content, and web lead generation programs. Prior to Office Depot, she spent almost 16 years at Dell working in various digital and traditional marketing roles.
Brian M. Smith currently serves as the Director of Digital Channel Management for Airgas USA, charged with overall oversight of adoption and change/thought management of off of Airgas’ digital platforms. He has spent the last decade of his career in Brand management and marketing, specializing in digital and social, for companies such as TESSCO, Hershey’s, Church & Dwight (Trojan Brand), CODi Worldwide, and Accenture Digital/Interactive. Additionally, he serves as an Adjunct Professor of Business in the School of Management Studies at Eastern University. A retired Naval Officer, Brian completed his undergraduate work at the LeBow College of Business at Drexel University, holds his MBA from the Fox School of Business and an M.Ed in Educational and Organizational Psychology from the College of Education at Temple University, where he is currently completing dissertation work for his Ph.D.
John Fisher is the Global Head of B2B Marketing for hybris Software, an SAP company, a leader in ecommerce platform software. He oversees all thought leadership, industry marketing and communications to help prospective customers make informed decisions on their ecommerce platform purchase. Prior to hybris, he served as the VP, E-commerce at Aramark, a $14B food services company where he implemented both an ecommerce and SFA/CRM system and served as digital transformation leader within the business. Avanish Sahai brings 20+ years of cross-functional leadership to Demandbase. As Chief Product Officer, Avanish leads product strategy, product management, and technology relationships. Prior to Demandbase, he was the Global Vice President of ISV's and Channels at salesforce.com, where he helped establish and scale the leading B2B apps marketplace, AppExchange, to over $1B in ecosystem revenues. Previously he was a senior executive at early stage companies: BDNA (acquired by PS'Soft), Cogency, Blazent and Impresse (acquired by EFI/PrintCafé). Avanish also was a management consultant at McKinsey, where he spearheaded the Software and Services practice. He started at Oracle, in engineering and product management.
Avanish holds an MBA from UCLA Anderson, an MS in Computer Engineering from Boston University and a BS in Computer Engineering from the University of São Paulo, Brazil.
